THE CRUNCHY BLOG☟
Local Seattle indie film and game studio, Imagos Softworks, has put together one of the most insanely cool Kickstarter projects I’ve seen in awhile: Starr Mazer. Seriously, you gotta check this out!!
Starr Mazer blends two classic genres, the Point-and-Click Adventure and Classic-style Shoot ‘Em Up, into a retro-sexy sci-fi epic with modern design sensibilities, open-middled gameplay and RPG elements.
The game will feature a collection of talented chiptune artists from around the internet, including Alex Mauer, C-Jeff, Cheap Dinosaurs, Ctrix, Fighter X, Nickelpunk, Phlogiston, Sabrepulse, Virt, and more! If you thought this couldn’t get any better… all supports within the first 72 hours of the campaign will receive the “Zero Day backer poster with gold lettering and fancy boarders”.

The project ends on Feb 21st and is asking for $160,000. For $30, you will get the game, digital art book, and digital soundtrack (limited $10 savings). Hurry up and become a backer!
Oh Girl KGHB Remix
Here’s a fun little project we did for our friends at the Main Arcade. Kellyn asked me to work on the “official” remix to their single Oh Girl, to which I obliged (of course)! Well actually, I was off all week for Thanksgiving and had nothing better to do… so think of this as our lazy-turkey-day dubstep remix! It was started on 11/24 and finished on 12/7.
You can check out the final version on SoundClound. And as a special treat, I’ve included a few early iterations below:

P.S. was the site streaming broken? Not sure what happened there, but it’s fixed now.
Yes, Sabrepulse was in town this last week! Luckily for you, I was able to get lots of goodies on film. Expect to see a video of Sabrepulse performing with Fighter X and Glooms in the coming weeks. Thanks to everyone who showed up @ John John’s, sorry it was such late notice.
In order to keep current with all these music site’s and services, I’ve added “streaming” to all music pages (that exist). This is perfect for those who have been too lazy to download and unzip the albums, or those who hate clicking “play” on each individual song.
Enjoy this on the following CR releases: 38, 37, 36, 35, 34, 33, 32, 31, 30, 29, 28, 27, 21, 20, and 19. Yaaaaay! Streaming services provided by Crunchify™
