CrunchyCo and Tawnie Wetzsteon presents a comic anthology like no other! This collection features the talent of creative artists from all over the place, maybe even you!

What is FM Transfer?

FM Transfer is an independant anthology zine, a simple collection of various comic and art works by multiple artists. The idea behind the project is to showcase the talent of several creative peoples. These are not industry professionals, but every day people with ambitions to bring their comic book art into the spotlight. Who knows, maybe in years to come you'll pick up a copy of a popular comic book and find that the successful creator started out right here!

So far, the first volume of FM Transfer has had a very limited print run that is currently available in our shop. Once the supply is out, it is not likely that Volume 1 will ever be printed again, so make sure you get your copy soon if you are interested in collecting the series.

Volume 2 is currently underway and will be released later this year. CrunchyCo is now accepting submissions from any interested artist (see below).

Information
The first issue of FM Transfer was almost like a prototype for volumes to come. Art was collected by Tawnie Wetzsteon through online avenues such as deviantArt. Entries by friends and dA members are creative, though much of it is quite rough. In order to make the deadline for the book's release at Sakura-Con 2009, submitted artwork was not screened, and pretty much anything was accepted into the collection. The first volume of FM Transfer turned out to be a fun experiment and a humble beginning, not wihout its flaws, but it the book serves as a formula and basis for comparision to improve and refine subsequent issues.
