The Chipophone, developed by Swedish software engineer Linus Ã…kesson, is actually an old electronic organ that has been converted into a chiptune synthesizer via a set of microcontrollers that transform the original organ tones into MIDI signals… fancy! With innovations such as this, I wonder if we’ll start seeing some chiptune artists give their game boys a rest and start pumping out their live tunes in real time! Wouldn’t that be something!
